Our PMS Color Matching service ensures precise color reproduction for projects where accurate color matching is essential. Since our printers use CMYK (Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, and Black) ink combinations, Pantone (PMS) colors may not always print exactly as intended.
This service is highly recommended for color-sensitive projects requiring specific PMS references. While we don’t print Pantone colors directly, we strive to match them as closely as possible using CMYK.
Each purchase of this service includes matching one Pantone color to one type of material (e.g., PMS 485 on display fabric). If multiple colors or materials require matching, please note that charges apply per color and material.
How It Works:
- Once this service is added to your order, our Graphics Department will print a single-color swatch (hard proof) in CMYK on your selected material.
- The hard proof will be shipped to you using your preferred delivery method for approval.
- After you receive and review the hard proof, please revise the artwork and send us the updated file; once we have your revised file, we will proceed with production.
Please note that adding this service will extend the order turnaround time by the time required for the delivery and approval of the hard proof.
Important Information and Tips:
- Use Pantone colors only from the Color Bridge Coated book for accurate matching.
- To find CMYK conversions for your PMS color, refer to the “CP” (Process Coated) swatch in the Pantone Color Bridge Coated book (e.g., 192 CP).
- We do not match HEX codes, colors from other swatch books, gradients, pastels, neon colors, metallics, or textures.
- Results may vary slightly due to changes in materials, equipment, and production conditions over time.
