Description
What is Blackback Backing?
Blackback Backing is a light-blocking textile designed specifically for lightboxes. Made from dense polyester with a black outer side, it blocks and reflects internal light, preventing light bleed and enhancing the contrast, sharpness, and color depth of the front-facing SEG graphic.
Installed behind the main backlit print, Blackback Backing helps direct the light forward, delivering brighter and more vivid visuals, especially in brightly lit spaces or when the rear of the lightbox is visible.
It does not contain any printed graphics. Each backing panel is finished with a 10×3 or 14×3 mm silicone edge (keder) stitched along the perimeter, allowing quick and secure installation into the rear channel of a frame.
